Matt MacLean
Founder & Principal
Matt has 25+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on executive recruiting, recruiting systems, and strategy, planning and management. He has worked as a recruiting practitioner and leader across many industries and sectors: philanthropy (Gates Foundation and Ballmer Group), life science non-profits (PATH, SPARK NS, AD Data Initiative and GH Labs), start-ups (Clearwire) and large enterprises (Amazon, Microsoft and AT&T Wireless).
Matt launched Talenton Group in 2020 as a boutique executive search firm focused on social impact and scientific innovation. The team sources talent for organizations that bring impact and resources to social innovation. He specializes in recruiting senior leaders in global and local health innovation, particularly global health, AI, research, translational science and product development, and has placed roles for national and international organizations, NGOs, renowned foundations, tech, healthcare and research institutions.
