Jewish Family Service of Seattle (JFS) is seeking a strategic, mission-driven Chief Operating Officer to translate the Agency’s mission and strategy into effective, efficient and sustainable operations. As a member of the executive leadership team and key thought partner to the CEO, the COO provides strategic oversight of Finance, Human Resources, Data Services, Information Technology, Facilities & Security, and agency-wide projects and strategic initiatives, and supervises six senior leaders.
A central focus of the role is thoughtfully leveraging data, technology and performance metrics to strengthen organizational effectiveness and improve service delivery, while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, learning, belonging, trust and care. The COO leads implementation of the strategic plan and represents the Agency in the absence of the CEO.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of progressive management experience, including 5+ in senior leadership, ideally in human services, healthcare or mission-driven organizations. The role is hybrid, with regular travel between Seattle, Kent and Eastside offices. The compensation range is $208,000 to $250,000, with a comprehensive benefits package.
