Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is seeking an experienced, thoughtful Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to a senior Neurology faculty leader whose work spans research, clinical, institutional and external commitments, including the DIAN Trials Unit, the DIAN observational study and C-BRAIN. Together these programs represent more than $250 million in active funding and a collaborator network spanning five continents.
The Executive Assistant serves as a trusted partner and primary coordinator for the faculty leader’s calendar, travel, communications, office operations and meeting preparation, using judgment, tact and initiative to keep work coordinated, deadlines on track and the executive office represented professionally.
The role calls for seven years of administrative experience supporting executive-level leaders; a bachelor’s degree and experience in a university, academic medical center or research institution are preferred. It follows a hybrid schedule in St. Louis.
